Terzo Paradiso – Public Art Installation

After an initial contact with Guimarães, when Michelangelo Pistoletto’s team visited the city, December 2011, the artist presented a proposal of intervention specifically idealized for the Educational Allotments of Guimarães, reiterating his commitment to social responsibility and to the theme of sustainability.
Michelangelo Pistoletto presented himself the projects Cittadellarte and Terzo Paradiso on the 19th of April during the Open Session in the great hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP). This meeting allowed bringing in and motivating thirty-nine interested students to collaborate in the creation of the project that happened between the 1st of September and the 9th of October in the premises of the FBAUP.
