In Istanbul traditional fishermen use purse seine nets for catching schools of migrating fish. This method overwhelms the Bosphorus Strait’s unique biological corridor.

For celebrating Rebirth day 2014, this “open to public” event will take place as a gesture to remember our responsibility about the universally shared commons and thank the sea for its generosity.
