GOALS: on the occasion of the International Day of Forests a series of creative activities to carry the message that sustainability in fashion is possible.

UNECE/FAO Forestry and Timber section & Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto present:

• Artistic Performance The Third Paradise by Michelangelo Pistoletto, Cittadellarte, in collaboration with Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève (Planpalais, Geneva)
• “Forests for fashion – Fashion for forests”, working conference on forest fibres and their use in the fashion industry, gathering all actors involved in the supply chain, from forest managers to clothing producers and retailers, to discuss the challenges and opportunities for sustainable production and use of such fibres in the textile sector and fashion industry (the Palais des Nations)
• Exhibition opening. Fashion show / performance: event and show (Palais des Nations, Salle des Pas Perdus – open until April 15th 2014).
