The Pafos2017 programme “Make it New” includes artistic, and not only interventions in the urban landscape. By choosing dilapidated areas, a unified conceptual space in the city center is created, which can incorporate any number of multicultural activities and citizen actions.
The title of this initial event will be “Street Art Square” as a first step to creating an open gallery dedicated to street art and alternative open-air cultural events in the spirit of the Open Air Factory of Pafos2017.
With this project we wish to transform -through art- the old parking place into the first open and permanent gallery of Cyprus.
Street art will invade the town center and transform it into a reference point in the city.
