GOALS: we aim to stimulate the creativity of the children while teaching them the ideas of the 3rd Paradise. In order to make the children understand how every responsible action coming from each one of them makes a difference in the world.

Description of lessons.

Participants: children ages 6-11

Number of children in each group: 6-10

4 groups per week

90min group sessions once a week for 3 weeks

At the beginning of each class we discuss and explain to the children in a simple way the basic concept of the Third Paradise,
We let the children talk and tell us their ideas about what’s going bad in the world and how they believe people should act in order to correct existing negative situations.
We discuss pollution, criminality, unemployment, sustentation issues and anything that the children consider important. We continue to discuss the possible answers to each problem and the actions necessary towards each solution.
Following the discussion we give the students a piece of paper with the symbol of the third paradise drawn on it and we let them paint their ideas, their thoughts, troubles and answers.

Once we are all done, we collect the complete works and discuss yet again about their work.
From these paintings we then choose elements and ask the children to transfer them on a big surface where we have a collective painting dedicated to the Third Paradise.
In our case it is our classroom’s wall.
