Unir les contraires, ouvrir l’infini
Video projected simultaneously in Mbalmayo (Cameroon) and in Bergamo.
Organized by: Arte e Luogo - Salvatore Falci
Date: 21/12/12
Address: Nyong-et-So, Cameroon

The video has been obtained by overlapping footages of an african man walking through a pathway that traces the circumnavigation of Africa, designed – using red soil – through words such as hunger, war, poverty with footages of the making of a Moebius strip. The walking is gradually faded out while the Moebius strip, cut lengthwise from the center reveals with his shape the symbol of the Third Paradise.
The audio is an african song about the dream of a united Africa.

On December 21st, 2012 at dusk, (at the equator happens around 7pm) the video has been projected on the front wall of the Center of educational orientation of Mbalmayo in Cameroon, a place that for 7 years has been the location of the project Arte e Luogo (Art and Place).

Simultaneously in Bergamo, in Via Borgo Palazzo, an italian delegation of the projects presents the video using the smoky air to carry the image.
